If you’ve been on Tik Tok the last 2 years, you have seen the Bama rush craze. It is one of the most bizarre things I have ever witnessed with my two eyes. It has become a yearly tradition for girls attending Alabama who are rushing a sorority to post Tik Toks documenting the whole process. It’s like the NFL Combine but for Barbies. From my understanding, these girls spend thousands of dollars on clothes, hair, and makeup to prepare. It’s top to bottom just weird. Like everything else in this world, there is a dark side to it. No shit.

This documentary from HBO highlights how these girls get ready for rush and in some twisted way, they somehow blame fraternities for all their troubles. They mic’d up girls and sent them on their way to get all of the drama and bad stuff that these sororities are doing. I am not gonna sit here writing about this and act like I am surprised that sorority girls are having trouble with drama and all this stuff mentioned in the trailer. I think that’s like page 1 of a sorority. As someone who has plenty of interaction with girls from sororities (No Big Deal), I think 98% of them will immediately have something bad to say about one of their “sisters”.

Will I be watching this documentary? Probably not, but I am sure as hell excited to be on Bama Rush Tik Tok in the fall to see which sorority chooses Gracie-Lou from Arkansas. Long Live Greek Life!
