Preseason Football Brawl: America Needs Football Season

Recently, our country has seen a lot of negative times. This has been proven once again by this brawl that has taken place in the stands of the San Francisco 49ers preseason game against the Broncos.

To be fair, this was one of the most solid fights I have seen in the stands in a long time. Also, the camera angles and steady hands are top-tier. If I had this camera quality when I got into my fight in middle school, everyone would know I actually landed no punches. Probably a good thing I’m good at gaslighting people and made everyone believe I had an upper cut like Mike Tyson.

More than ever, people are dealing with short fuses and high tensions, a recipe for disaster. Could you link this to the high temperatures that the summer offers? Or the fact that we are dealing with record inflation? Probably, but I attribute it to the fact that Americans miss football.

Preseason football is like hooking up with your ex. Seems like a good idea at first, but at the end of the day, you know what to expect. Typically you enjoy it the first time, but after that, it’s just a reminder of how bad it is and how you want to feel the real thing again.

I do wonder what this fight started over. There is never a reason you should be fighting someone in the stands over a preseason NFL game. The only thing I can think of is that one was a Brock Purdy guy and the other was rooting for Trey Lance.
