Fellas, check in on your girlfriends because Swifties are in shambles. Taylor Swift and Matty Healy’s rumored relationship has reportedly come to an end after a brief period together. The American singer, 33, and the British musician sparked dating rumors earlier this year when they were seen together on multiple occasions, fueling speculation about their closeness.

Taylor Swift had previously split from her longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn earlier this year after a six-year relationship. She was last seen publicly with Matty Healy on May 25 during a romantic dinner date.

Sources now indicate that the couple has called it quits. According to TMZ, a close friend of Taylor confirmed that she is now “single.” However, the exact timing of their breakup remains unclear.

The problem surrounding their relationship came from Matty Healy’s past controversies and problematic remarks. The 1975 frontman has made offensive comments in the past, discussed watching pornographic material depicting “brutalized” women, and gathered attention for kissing fans at his concerts.

Do I care about Taylor and her love life? Not at all. Taylor is simply not good anymore. It was not always this way though. Her old stuff is good, but recently whenever I hear her music it sounds like nails on a chalkboard. She really hit her peak with “Our Song”. Also, her fans are top-tier crazy. I find fandom to be amazing because you are rooting for someone who doesn’t know you exist. But when it comes to Taylor and her Swifties, it just means more. I saw an article the other day talking about how her fans are wearing diapers to her concerts so they don’t have to get up.

If that doesn’t prove that they’re somewhat crazy, I don’t know what would. If you’re not drunk at a concert, then you didn’t really even enjoy it. I couldn’t tell you the last time I remember a full concert and that is a completely normal concert experience.
