I grew up in the LA area during Kobe’s prime, one of my favorite memories of all time is sitting courtside with my dad at game 7 and watching the purple and gold hoist another championship trophy. I recall being able to name every single member of my favorite teams, and where they played in college. I watched guys like Kobe, Dirk, Dereck Fisher, Paul Pierce, and Dwayne Wade with awe as they would battle it out on the hardwood.

However the NBA of today is completely and totally unwatchable, I mean it’s basically soccer now with the amount of flopping and whining I feel like I’m watching a theatre performance, not a professional basketball game. Competitiveness in regular season NBA games is nonexistent, you have a bunch of multi-millionaires b*tching incessantly about issues they clearly know nothing about.

When I turn on a sporting event I prefer not to be lectured by a group of grown men who lack the intelligence to have passed a single general ed course if not for the university they played for giving them an unbelievable amount of breaks, extra help, and just blatantly passing them. Just play basketball, go out there and compete and play with physicality, until that returns I think a large section of the country will, and has been tuning the NBA out.
