Move over salmon, I have found my new favorite fish.
Penis’s are so back. thousands of marine creatures called “penis fish” have washed ashore on a beach in Argentina, specifically in Rio Grande. These creatures, officially known as Urechis Unicinctus, bear a striking resemblance to the human penis. They typically live on the ocean floor but were washed ashore during a storm.
Interestingly, this is not the first time these penis fish have made an appearance, as they were previously spotted in 2019 on Drakes Beach near San Francisco. Some people had doubts about their identity at the time, coming up with amusing theories about their origin. Sometimes the jokes write themselves…
Surprisingly, these penis fish are edible and are served in markets in South Korea, China, and Japan. They reportedly have a chewy texture and are surprisingly sweet, often enjoyed with savory sauces made from sesame oil or vinegar with gochujang. I think I will pass on that!
On another note, I am sure the Urechis Unicinctus could call Adam 22 and ask for a chance with Lena. He doesn’t seem to mind.
