After serving a two-semester tour at your frat house, chances are you’re going to feel a little bit spoiled with your drink selection this summer. What used to be strictly Natty and Busch has now become Nooners and spiked Arnold Palmers, and with drinks like Sunny D hopping into the spiked seltzer game, picking out a personal 12-pack can start to feel overwhelming. Because I am a man of the people, I spent the past week trying virtually every spiked seltzer that my local liquor store sells. It has been quite the journey and I feel beyond enlightened. So allow me to bestow upon you the top 5 spiked seltzers for the summer.

  1. High Noon
    • In a world where some brands struggle to have one amazing flavor, it’s incredible to see High Noon produce such a deep lineup of flavors. I can’t lie they may be a little overpriced, but they have always been at the top of the Spiked Seltzer game. At the end of the day, it’s the depth of your roster that is gonna help you win championships and High Noon exemplifies that philosophy. I think we can all agree that their worst flavors are superior to some brands’ best, and that’s what makes their variety pack so valuable. If you have the cheddar, you can’t go wrong picking up a pack of Nooners this summer.
  2. Happy Dad
    • From their marketing to their amazing flavor Happy Dad Seltzer has taken the world by storm in such a short time. This might be the most fraternal seltzer on the market and is one of the few drinks on this list that won’t make you feel like you lost your man card when you crack it open. There is just something I find unsettling about the skinny little bitch cans every other spiked seltzer is served in. Fat cans are the absolute best, and they also do pretty well in the taste category.
  3. White Claw
    • I had to include White Claw at the three spot solely because of the role it has played in popularizing spiked seltzer. If it wasn’t for White Claw, I’m not sure what the drinking world would look like. Their variety is immaculate, and it seems to be growing every day with the new variety packs they are constantly releasing. They even have an 8% seltzer for those of us who like to party just a little harder. If you need to turn up the heat this summer don’t be afraid to get after a White Claw Surge.
  4. Spiked Arnold Palmer
    • Maybe I’m just a sucker for Arnold Palmer, but there is something about these that makes you drink for volume. After your fifth drink, you start to get Arnold running through your veins and you feel like you just might get your golf game back on track this summer. With its refreshing taste, this is the perfect golf beverage that will serve as the ultimate swing lube. Whether you’re on the course or in your backyard, this drink can really sneak up on you and get you beyond buckled.
  5. Sunny D
    • Believe it or not, a childhood staple has started making spiked seltzer. This past March, Sunny D released a sugar-free spiked seltzer that actually tastes like the real thing. Putting down a few of these will bring you right back to the elementary school lunch table. I can’t wait to see what brands are going to follow in their footsteps. I’m getting antsy just thinking about the idea of Spiked Hi-C or Capri Sun. Who knows maybe fruit rollup will start releasing edibles.
