Artemis Langford joined the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority at the University of Wyoming in September of 2022 and is expected to move into the sorority house in the coming school year, but the seven girls currently living in the house have filed a lawsuit against both their college and Langford, claiming that they “live in constant fear” of the trans member of the sorority.

Langford, pictured, is 6’2″ and 220 pounds, according to reports

As a member of the sorority, Langford frequents the chapter house and chapter events, and members of the sorority claim that Langford’s presence often makes them feel uncomfortable, as some sisters have claimed that Langford became physically aroused while around them and taken pictures of them at inopportune moments, such as a sorority sleepover.

According to the lawsuit, “National sorority officials disregarded the secret voting process required by Sorority rules and after extensive behind-the-scenes direction from national Sorority officials and alumnae advisers.” The lawsuit also claims that Langford stares at the other sorority members in the common area for hours without talking and watched one of the members change her shirt without a bra on.

Leadership of the sorority reportedly responded that if members of the Kappa Kappa Gamma felt too uncomfortable with Langford as a member, they had every right to drop out of the sorority.
