Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg is the internet beef no one knew we needed. The two Silicon Valley titans have been arguing pretty heavily online recently, and even agreed to a fight against each other. Now, the debate is turning even more childish as Musk called Zuckerberg a cuck, and challenged him to compare the size of their manhood. The tweet reads, “I propose a literal d**k measuring contest” with the inclusion of a ruler emoji at the end to really hammer home his message.
This is the behavior of someone still looking for the social validation that most people hammered out in middle school. Yes, it is incredibly entertaining to watch him challenge another grown man to a cage fight. It’s even funnier seeing Musk tell the same man that he has a larger package. It’s like watching a child throw a fit at Target, but he’s a billionaire.
Musk is obviously doing this in response to Zuckerberg releasing Threads as a direct competitor to Twitter. What is unknown, is whether Musk is acting out of insecurity, or through business-oriented motives. The father of ten could be doing this due to low self-esteem. He could also be doing this because he knows his wild tweets are single handedly keeping Twitter interesting. Basically, I think Musk is the world’s highest paid content creator, and he pays himself.
Similarly to the fight, this competition needs to happen. Unlike the fight, it should definitely not be televised. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t curious who the winner would be, but I still don’t want to see this. My money is on Zuckerberg, because he briefly dated Rooney Mara in The Social Network. That doesn’t happen for no reason.
