Kourtney Kardashian and Addison Rae got together to show off their matching bikinis on Kourtney’s Instagram story. These two are one of the weirdest pairs of friends among the thoroughly strange group of influencers. Maybe this is just proof that people who photograph themselves in swimwear for a living automatically have enough in common to be friends. I mean, where else can a pregnant mother of three be friends with a twenty-two year old without people batting an eye.
Fans pointed out how good the two looked in their bikinis, and how far along Kourtney is in her pregnancy. Easily the most interesting part of this is how it frames the utterly wild lifestyle the Kardashians live. I’m not sure if anyone in the family has ever mentally left their early twenties. This is a logical explanation for why she chooses to spend her free time playing dress up with a college aged girl. This feels equally as sad as Matthew McConaughey’s character in Dazed and Confused without the creepy sexual undertones.
I honestly forgot that Addison Rae existed until today. She seemed to bring TikTok into relevance with the D’Amelio’s. Rae was seemingly everywhere for a while, and she even starred in some unwatchable Netflix remake movie my sister told me about. Quite frankly, she reached Kardashian status of her own for a while. She even had Bryce Young to fill the Ray J role in the rise to her stardom. It seems fitting that she becomes an honorary Kardashian. She can join them as they live the most care free, and least responsible lives of all time. God do I envy both of them, and their bank accounts.
